Are you happy with the ground clearance? Looks like it's similar to the oil pan.
I know what you mean about jarring over single side bumps.

BTW, I just went out and jacked up the LF corner directly under the hairpin mount on the axle. I was able to get a foot off with the other 3 one the ground, BUT it was mainly due to rear axle tilt. The body and frame were at quite an angle!

I didn't take a pic, but yours is much flatter in comparison. My front axle to frame is similar, it was not articulating enough for the tie rod to hit the frame.
I have no idea if this helps you, but thought I'd give you another data point.

Paul, remind me of the rear suspension. I’m too lazy to scroll through your posts to find it. With no bind in roll at the front end, only the spring resists roll. If the rear suspension is now stiffer due to its design, it will be more prone to slipping. Ie being loose as the oval racers would say. Just something to consider as you get used to driving it around with the new front suspension setup

rear suspension is a pair of modified typical ladder bars,
    I shortened them about 8"

    post 115, ladder bars

and here's a walk around before the body went on:

With both ends using transverse leafs, I'd expect similar articulation.
LOVE the steering wheel and other details!

What’s your impression of the tri power vs the dual quad? I forgot you made the switch- I like both looks on your car. Looking good!

I did change a few things since that video
tri power to dual fours, points distributor to magneto, individual tube headers to three into ones with mufflers, buick drums, etc.
even polished aluminum wrap on generator swapped out for a chrome generator.
all more for cosmetic aesthetics than real performance gain.
tripower worked great, but I think the dual fours are easier to tune and just might make more power.

    no, nothing to report
weather keeps it inside most days, too wet and or cold this time of year.
    definitely looking forward to spring.

    a rare moment between showers,
    out running errands:

Nice, Paul. Now that you have set the bar, I guess I should get out in the garage and start working on mine again. It’s -5 degrees outside right now! Maybe later…
