G'day Fellas, Leaving the world's most isolated capital city mid July, having a holiday planned around Punk Rock Raduno, Rebellion festival and Punk Rock Holiday. Hoping to find some events, runs or meet ups while there. If anyone has the dates for Romo I'd love to hear them. Anything related to what we do here, I'd love to see. Recommendations please, as we all love pictures, here's a pic of my roadster out at Lake Perkolilli, one of the world's oldest unchanged race tracks. My travel dates are loose, as they should be.
There is the Kings Krusiers Show just outside Kings Lynn, Norfolk UK. The car show is on Sunday 26th July. As it is a three day event Friday to Sunday so you would be most welcome any of those day just ask for Paul. There is the NSRA Supernationals 9th August at Old Warden Park, Nr, Biggleswade, Hertfordshire. Even though it is a three day event it is only open to the public on the Sunday.
Vintage Hot Rod ***ociation Speed Trials on Pendine Sands in West Wales is 12th & 13th September, which is likely very much up your street. As possibly would be the A-Bombers Old Timer Weekender at Backamo, about 70km's north of Gothenburg, Sweden, which is over the weekend of July 23rd-25th. BUT its a camping weekend, and there's no on-site accommodation other than camping/motorhome etc., and its in the middle of nowhere, so not easy to stay local in a hotel. You'd need to pre-register as well, so not a turn up on the day option. ****** brilliant event though.
