I have a 51 V8 mercury convert in the shop for total rewire, electric wipers, OEM Radio update, 12V conversion. I have the cl***ic auto wiring diagram I am using but it is incomplete in some respects. I am looking for the wiring on the solenoid on the hydraulic pump motor as well as the wiring on the Power top switching mechanism. The diagram I have shows 1 wire on the solenoid trigger connector but the car I am working on had 3 wires attached to that connector (and cut off) Most diagrams I have found show nothing for the hydraulic system at all. Can anybody help me out?

With three pins, is one for power, one for up and the third for down? With the motor mount providing the positive ground ???
