    it was maybe 6 or 7 years ago, I drove about 3 hours away to a Wisconsin swap meet that I had never been to before. It was tiny maybe 30-40 vendors. Those metal flake pedal covers were all I bought there. 5 bucks for the set

    Mark, it would be amazing to see you at a flea market the size of Hershey. It would take you hours per row to sort through everything and a big box truck to follow to gather up your purchases.

    Former co-worker knew I really liked the old warbird stuff, tells me his landlord has a turret off some kind of a Navy trainer says if you want it, you can have it. Sure I say, bring it into work. Well, it's not from a trainer but a WWII TBM Avenger! Take a close look at the straight slotted screws, it's amazing, those guys and gals pounding this stuff out for the war effort were taking the time to clock the screw slots to line up with the framework for the plexigl***! Now that's pride in your work!
