The large hangar of two, located in Tustin, CA. Not the actual Santa Ana Dragstrip location. Hello, One of the nicest photos from So Cal history. Living in So Cal for over 80 years allows one to absorb plenty of local history from involvement to just visiting… The old photo was taken by Robert Caanan. The clear color photo was taken by my digital camera during a local road trip visiting various old hot rod places. **** Price roadster at the Tustin Air Base drags. This old photo shows the 2nd hangar a short distance away. As one can see, it is right next to a stop light in modern times and is the closest hangar to see on a daily basis if one is on that local street. At one time, the two hangars were in use as Hangars for the Huge Blimp airships we used to see in the So Cal skies and on national TV during the large football game coverages. But, back in history, the hangars were used for community events and other public happenings. There was plenty of space in the large hangars. Height and width… Jnaki But, sadly the large hangar on the left burned down and is now a having a terrible clean up process. YRMV
WTH is this thing? Two different cars put together? I don't see how anyone could fit into the door on the driver side
