Man, it's been 3 long days so far, and I've still got one more to go! I'm pooped out, my dogs are tired, and my Model A pickup gave out on me, so I had to take my 47 coupe this morning. I've walked over 15k steps each day for the past 3 days. But its been great! What a show. I haven't had time to get anything posted up yet, I don't know how guys do it. But I've taken over 1000 photos and got about half of them uploaded to my computer so I can go through and edit them and resize them for posting here, which I'll do as I can. In the meantime, enjoy this walk through of the Suede Palace on Thursday, move in / set up day. Lot's of activity goin' on. This is a behind the scene view you may not get from the other guys.

OK, here's the first photos, the blatant self promotion photos of the ol' jalopy pickup sporting the new shoes and new grill shell. This was on Thursday, where they had me park out of the way of all the commotion going on of trucks, trailers, and cars moving around.

These 2 beauties were parked over by me, later on they moved into the Suede Palace, if you watch the video I posted above you'll see them there:

Thanks for the pictures. Looking forward to the rest of them. Seen your truck by the suede Palace yesterday but you were already off and running. Maybe we'll catch up with you in June at the L A roadster show.

I was watching for your little pickup but I didn’t see it. Looks great with the new changes!

Thanks guys, I will post them up as I can. I'm heading back out this morning, but going a little later instead of at dark thirty. Here's a couple more pics.

Alright, let's get right to it. Here's my buddy Stanley Chavic's AMBR contender from Thursday, before the display was set up. He isn't happy about the photos of the car without the full display going up, because he worked hard to create the display, but I will post up more photos from Friday with the display later. So proud of and happy for Stanley and Daisy for pulling this off. And Im looking forward to after the show when they have this thing out and about and enjoying it at local rod runs (like the Pasadena Roadster Club Reliability Run in the Spring).

And one more video real quick. Part 1 of the Fat Fender collection, a great display! I got more video's uploading now, will share them later on. I need to go get a shower, get some breakfast, and get out of here back to the show. See you all later.

Even though it’s not a style that I’m fond of, Stanley Chavic’s roadster is amazing. The concept, the execution, even the colors are wonderful. What a way to step out of the ordinary…..

There is none finer than Scott’s 55 G***er. The engine compartment has so many subtle parts that Scott made himself including the wiring and tanks you can look for an hour and not see them all. It was first a 3 peddle but changed to a PG last year. He’s a regular at Donut Derelicts and Covid Cruise with the car.

Oh yeah Blues, forgot to thank you for the photos!
How are the slicks on your pickup for driving on the LA streets and highways?

They actually ride really great, better than the old Firestone bias ply tires they replaced. They don't follow the rain grooves on the freeway. I did have to drop the pressure to about 22 psi iirc.

Blues4U thanks for posting all those great pictures and video. Very much appreciated for those of us that didn't get to attend the show. I bet you will sleep really good when the show is over after all that walking you did to get those pictures.

Good morning all, it looks like it's going to be another beautiful southern California day. Let's get things started here with the rest of the videos of the Fat Fender collection. This display was outstanding, my compliments to those who set it up. This building alone was worth the price of admission IMO.
