We're fixing my first car to drive down the same first road

Hammer/ dolly /Bondo continues. My bro does this stuff fast & well, I straggle along, steep learning curve. Bro tackled the B pillars/ LHR door (which was a oil-canned pig). These front fenders were pretty bumpy, I've been on them, finally have them where I want them. This one is splashed with water for a look.



Olil canned door. This door was coated in some pretty pitty rust. A better door is too many $$$, hope the inner supports will be OK.





Summer down under. Nice workplace.





Probably the worst gap on the car. Geoff's not happy with it, I dont mind. This an old 80's trunk floor repair.




We suspect hood flew back sometime in the past. The dent in front of the windscreen will need a pull, same other side.

Oops, forgot. This bad boy now shares space with my car. This thing needs a thread of it's own. Absolutely *****in early Holden, this thing.

These are concepts. I love the photo of the rear and that's how it should look. I've deleted the stainless trim that is riveted to the p***enger door window frames, and moved the licence plate down onto the bumper with a '56 FE Holden licence guard.
My bumpers are kinda ****ty. You can get mint new Chinese repops, and they look good, but man, ughh.. The green scallop is just playing around.

 

Wheels and hubcaps painted. All Stock. Didnt drop the tyres (hand-me-downs). Made a cardboard mask. Deflated the tyres, mask worked real well.
Hub caps are not polished yet.
New bias plys to suit are hideously expensive down- under.

P.s. Went over to lay down some 2K Epotec today. Got sidetracked, had to make room to work on the car. After that, looked at the hood. Went ahead w/ Bondo and have it to a point of acceptability, despite using no heat. Another little oil-canned patch at rear edge driver's side. The rear edge of these hoods are not rolled, just a big ol' sharp edge. Anyway It's pretty much ready for hi-fill.
