    Chrome drip rail? How? Maybe it is a chrome cover? I saw a tailgate once that had the FORD letters in chrome. I asked the owner and the entire gate was chromed, then the letters were masked off during painting. Things that make you go hmmmm

    many 60's and 70's cars had snap on chrome trim on the drip rails.... maybe it came from one of those

    Custom Cab came with stainless trim I believe...

  9. Correct, It was a Custom Cab factory item along with several other little pieces of S.S. most noticeable was the grill treatment.

    Drip rails would be a different story but a lot of guys do that to get chrome louvers on a painted panel. The things we do for street cred. lol

    I like imperfections that gives the Hot Rod personality.
    All my builds have imperfections on purpose.
