There’s usually a couple others that sound off when their copy gets to Canada (as their mailman is faster than mine) so I’m hoping to see something from them SOON. Would love to get my copy before Christmas.

I am a lifetime member here in B.C. Canada. I have not yet received my copy #87. I am okay with that as I have always received my issue about a month behind the US.
But, I was at SO-CAL Speed Shop Canada yesterday picking up some parts (They carry way more than just So-Cal Parts) and they have a stash there ready for sale. My excitement and impatience got the best of me and I grabbed a copy.
I have been up for an hour enjoying my morning coffee and savoring every amazing page of the new issue. So far it is excellent! No surprise there.
But I just finished an article written by our founding father here, @Ryan about two killer historic CA. deuces now residing in Austin. I have always really enjoyed Ryan's writing and am supper stoked about the article and hope to see more of it in future issues.
Anyone in the lower mainland of B.C that wants an issue, run down to SO-CAL Canada 103, 5327 192nd Street Surrey. For anyone else in Canada, They ship. Give them a call- 1-778-574-6225. I am sure you could get it before Christmas.
This shameless plug is for my best friend of the last 39 years (Since we were 10) who owns the shop.

I'm guessing my sub ran out even though I got the email. Last issue I got was #86. I'll need to call/email to check.

My subscription laps years ago but I picked them up at the book store. Unfortunately the book store is gone and would love to buy the new issues any places in the Midwest that sells it

You have to admit, so many people getting 87 in such a short period of time is probably the best news we've had regarding the Rodders Journal in the last several years.

They did indeed, and HAMB’er @Marty Strode had his Top Banana on display in the RJ booth.

@andydodge , being in Australia, I don't think you will be very high on the list of Rodder's Journal priorities.
In fact, I don't think we down here in BF Egypt would even be on the list.

  24. But its interesting that I actually got a reply last August 13th and sent them all the details including the Order Number # 7995 that they gave my daughter on December 20 2024 after accepting the payment from her.........I have received NO reply to my 3 inquiries since then........................I mean, is this the way to treat customers, its basically just plain old THEFT..............Andy Douglas

Unfortunately, when they have your money in advance, they can treat you any way they choose. When I say they, I am not necessarily singling out just The Rodder's Journal. Right or wrong seems to have very little to do with it a lot of the time.
As Louis Armstrong said, "What a wonderful world".:(

    One thing I will say.
If The Rodder's Journal truly do want to make everything right, it appears that they still have a very long way to go.

Yes, it is absolutely THEFT. Paying for four issues for a year and not getting four a year is a THEFT. If a person doesn't get one, it is CRIMINAL. What would you say about Speedway if it took 10 days for you to receive a part? You would slander them up and down, left and right, if they were a few days late for a 10.00 part. But TRJ is working sooooo hard to make one issue..... Poor Steve.....He is moving again to another state.....It's the problem that the post office is the problem....But he is a real hot rod enthusiast....Yeah, right......

  27. I find it funny that you're all bashing the magazine when just above there are two photos of their booth at GNRS this year. Kind of hard to rip people off when they are standing right there. Did you talk to them at the booth? Did you send an email to the customer service email address? Just imagine how many emails they get a day, and how you try to answer them all while more responses come back and new emails arrive every day. How many magazines are still trying to make it? The amount of adversity that has happened to this magazine, all others would have folded by now, and they have.

My recommendation is to send an email or personal message through the Facebook page with all the information you can provide, then sit back and wait for a response. TRJ would not have shown up at GNRS with a booth fully staffed if they were not trying to make everyone happy and fulfilled.

He mate, yep super frustrating, I had 4 magazines that weren't recieved. #87 is the last of that lot. Once I finally started correspondence they got onto it & sent the 3 'back orders' which arrived here in Vic late November/Dec. I am still waiting on #87 the mail to Australia has always been very slow. when it was still in Newsagents it was often on the shelf before it arrived in the mail.
I say all this to let you know that you aren't on your own, that if subscription's have arrived in the US & Canada they will make their way here. & that they do know how to find Australia.

I've been buying old issues from a local antique shop which has kept me going....

    Patiently waiting (mostly)
