the TT is a bucket list item for me, but alas, until the TSA is disbanded, (or i can afford a charter, lolz) that's on the back burner.....and it's a damn cold burner.

That is some serious engineering! Always coveted a Vincent Black Shadow but never came close to having enough money for one.

 

I might be wrong but this is probably the Joe Simpson Black Lightning which ran 180 mph on the salt in 1950. My dear friend, the late Marty ****erson, had a couple runs on the bike as well but said they were unable to release the full potential of the bike.

 

I really like the look of bobbers but they are horrible to ride. My next build may be one. LOL.

 

Yeah, fun for around town or down to the waterfront for fish and chips, but definitely not long distance.

 

About ready to start working on my 54 pan, so keep checking in here for motivation.

An original Denver's Choppers Honda bike from the late 70's. I rode one way back when and it was extremely comfortable and ungodly quick. I also rode a Kawasaki (yellow and gold) that was the same. Mondo Porras is still making them in Reno. I have had five frames and springers from Denver's for my Harley builds. Great work.

Agreed, definitely some talent involved. Would be a cool living room centerpiece, but then it would have to be dusted from time to time.

 

Here is a closer look at the framework. It's clearly meant to be a design experiment. The rocker boxes are slick though.

 

At a standstill until a medical procedure is performed next week due to a kidney boulder, it’s going to get lasered. Too painful to bend and twist. Have most of the parts to put it back together.
