There was an announcement at GNRS that Hot Rod Ron Carlsten is now a team member of Rodders Journal.

I did not want to add fire to this blaze, but I ordered a couple of slip-covers from TRJ a month ago with a note that my #87 never came. Nothing yet.
I ordered a copy of #87 from Aero-auto books due here Friday, keeping my collection up to date. ( I am the envy of everyone at the Doctor's waiting room whenever I go!)

Fortunately, I don't live far from their HQ. I am able to stop by there on occasion on my way home from work (about 15 minutes) and get the latest updates. I have every issue plus some doubles. Even have both cover versions of #87. :D
All I can say is keep emailing customer service and include your name, phone, and the address that you ordered your latest subscription/renewal with. I've moved a time or 2 since 2012 and he searched his database right there in front of me and I saw that my old address was in there and wasn't current.

It shouldn't be hard to get something that we already paid for.

Of course it is. Small staff, high costs of production, time consuming product, shipping with USPS. Rather,it's amazing anybody at all has gotten one.

  12. Of course many things are amazing............anyway I just sent another email from TRJ website headed "Wheres My Stuff" with the details including the Order Number, #7995 which was given back on December 20th 2024 so we'll see if the extra team member makes any difference to the response.............Andy Douglas

  15. Yes, that is correct. I manage social media and digital ****ytics. If you have any issues with TRj, please email the customer service email address or message them on the Facebook page. We are working hard to make sure everyone is taken care of here in the USA and in the rest of the world. The amount of adversity this magazine has faced is unprecedented now that I know exactly what has happened. There is no need to go over it, as it does not change the fact that many of you feel this way. As the new member of the team, all I can ask is that you stick with us; we will get everyone taken care of.

    Hi Ron,

As you are now in the loop can you advise if issue 87 has been shipped to direct international subscribers? It would appear that no direct international subscribers anywhere other than the USA have received issue 87 as yet.

I emailed this query to customer service over a week ago but never received a reply.

If they have been shipped perhaps a query to your shipping agents and an update on the HAMB would be helpful and cut down the email traffic at Rodders Journal.

    Thanks in anticipation.

I'm sure that putting out something on Facebook that addresses the concerns of your international subscribers regarding the lack of deliveries of both regular subscriptions and lifetime subscriptions to Australia, New Zealand and Europe would reduce the amount of emails that you have to deal with.

I'm in the UK and the announcement that #87 was at the printers was sent out in April 2025.

In the information vaccuum of international deliveries, rumours propagate wildly - I'm sure that your business would rather not be having to defend itself constantly.

Just my two pennorth - other international subscribers's views may differ.

Basically, they are telling people to ......off. Steve was at GNRS. What did he do? Sold stuff to people, shook hands, and now he will disappear until next year. Telling people to address issues on FB is completely WRONG. Leaving a note on FB doesn't fix a problem because Steve started the problem. PS- FYI: A lot of people are not on FB and today FB is rarely used by lots of younger people. Younger people have moved on to other social media.

He is not telling people to go on FB. In the newsletter EMAIL he stated for folks that haven't received their orders, to Email TRJ at customerservice@roddersjournal.com with 'Where's My Stuff' in the subject line. Include your name and address that you used when originally ordering. They will get back to you as soon as they can. They are super busy right now trying to make things right for everyone and are working on getting back to operating at 100%. I understand the frustrations but TRJ took a big hit and are seriously trying to work things out. Most mags would have just folded, but Steve is dedicated to making a full comeback.

With respect, TRJ sending an email on December 4th telling subscribers that their orders were mailed out and then not engaging with overseas paid subscribers who have had no deliveries is not indicative of "seriously trying to work things out".

All I can say is that I’ve visited their HQ on few occasions and there is clear evidence they are truly working on it. They have not folded. Take that however you want. Things are obviously moving slow, but I feel it will eventually work out.

  26. There are issues with getting TRJ overseas, which I believe have been resolved. I can only control the area ***igned to me within the organization. My boss, the editor, has the final say on what I publish as a response.

As for emails or facebook that is where everyone needs to go for their questions. What most people do not understand is that it creates a list for all of us who are working to take care of everyone. The email you send also appears in your customer profile, making it easier for us to track your account in the system and inventory. There are only 4 of us working every day to get everyone taken care of. If you send an email or Facebook message, we will respond and get you taken care of. It takes time to get TRJ back on track. I took this position to save this publication because, like you all, I do not want it to go away. No one in their right mind would have taken this position in the middle of the customer service firestorm we are currently facing. That's why, like the rest of the staff at TRJ, I will not let the journal go away, as there's nothing else left anymore.

Thanks for responding - it appears that the shipping overseas isn't resolved.
