Unique! I wonder why a fairly influential concern like The Peterson wouldn't go through the effort to get ***le. It's got to be stuff they are familiar with and have staff to handle. It will impact the buyer's pool.
I know there should be a path, I don't want to muddy this thread with discussion, but that is a red flag.

NOTE: Even with its modern ch***is, I'm gonna go out on a limb and call this one a "Traditionally-Styled" Hot Rod (i.e., to quote @anthony myrick, I'd drive it! :D):

That 31 was a big bargain! Comments mention there was 80k in it. Looking at the parts, I believe it.

the bring a trailer ad states washington blue... here is a cut and paste

The steel coupe body was removed from the frame and received a 3½” top chop, replacement wood framing, and a repaint in Washington Blue before being mounted to a boxed and Z’d frame, which has been fitted with a ’32-style K-member. Exterior details include a ’32-style grille shell, a windshield visor over the tilt-out windshield, a black vinyl roof, a rear rumble seat, an “ahooga” horn, and blue dot teardrop taillights.

If you go to the website you can signup for daily auctions ending and starting that day.
    When they come,
Be sure to click on “click here to go to website “ otherwise the list you see won’t include all the cars that day.
Will come to your email in the morning, mine shows up around 8am. Like the morning paper.
