Brewsir-Let me know how you handle the two curved rear quarter side glasses that wrap on around a little at rear and the rear liftgate glass...all three are tempered glass for sure.......Kenny

Actually I plan on cutting a new rear window out of a windshield and the curved pieces are laminated......at least the drivers side was because it has one hell of a big crack in it...never seen tempered crack(except in a million pieces)

 

Yes, the rear side glass is laminated. Not sure about the tailgate glass. That's one sweet ride and the tri-5 purists will spend A BUNCH of time looking at the finished product to figure out all the modifications. Still, it's no submarine built from an old propane tank.

 

Speeking of tri-fives, my father-in-law has a sweet maroon 55 he needs to do something with, and I'm trying to talk him into the gasser look, anybody have any pics so I can give him some ideas?

You have definately upped the degree of difficulty! INSAINE! I have looked at your build as a great place to start looking for ideas when I start cutting and smoothing my wagon around. I can't wait to see how you are going to get the curved glass cut and set on this one!
