Technical Stromberg Elco fuel inlet

    What era has the Elco 1/2 -20 fuel inlet.
    I guess they fit Stromber 97.

    Are you sure?

    It doesn't have a tapered end to seat in the carb inlet, almost looks like pipe thread in the picture, and how would you even clock a non swivel 90 in a carb.

    Looks like a pipe thread to hose elbow with the slight flare on the end to hold the hose after clamping

    Hank, show us the inside of the threaded end? Is it inverted flare?

    I think that is meant to screw into a fuel log to transition to rubber line.

    Doesn’t look to be pipe thread, looks like it is an AN fitting, maybe a -6 with 9/16-18 NFT that someone trimmed the 37* tapered end off of.

    those don't screw into the carb but they do screw into the needle seat that is missing from yours

    where else would the needle valve go?

    Based on the catalog illustrations, it looks like Hank has a fitting for a Holley, not a Stromberg.

    Yes and it look like 60’s aswell, not for me.
