Hello. It is time for me to start some more artwork. This time I am looking for rods with 1939 Ford truck grills. Love the look --wanna draw one. I had some pics of the ones owned by the Alter Boys but I threw them out (dammit) If you have pics of those cars the one with the Caddy motor is cool and is the one I have in mind.. Thanks for your help. If you wanna save bandwidth email me----- americangreezer@hotmail.com And ,, thanks again Justin
Yeah I dig that truck. Thanks for the pic Mai Ki-Ki.. However I am lookin for cars that would include the 1939 grill in its entirety Here is a pic I lifted off the www.
There's like 3-4 of them in an issue of R&C from last summer, I think...damn, I can't remember which one...
God almighty those grills are nasty, you know i read mag-neto magazine with the Sebastian Rubbo roadster and although i appreciate what the Guy was doing at the time ,God that car was ugly appart from the grill he took the fenders off too which made it double ugly.My personal veiw and only personal mind is that cars after 34 need fenders and trucks up to 37 can get away without them, but i still say what were ford thinking when they designed those grills. Also the trucks at the start of this thread are the absolute exception to the rule ,they are real kool and probably took a lot of thinking to get them that way although trucks get away with it easier because of the box at the back...............my penneth worth ........Mad Marq
I've been working on mine yesterday and today getting the complete/stock 36 axle converted to an A style spring and splitting the bones. Tommorow the axle meets the chassis for a little suicide fitting... I CAN"T WAIT... I was actually going to post tonite looking for a rad to fit this grill, or failing that I could use a measurement for the time being. Anyone? Jason...
