I bought a set of headers like that for cheap several years ago. The headers were fine, but for some reason the hardware that came with them was metric. New header bolts and I was fine.

I bought the same set. They fit fine welds didn’t really look like they were done by an eight year old.had to dent them to clear the steering box a bit. I didn’t like the metric header bolts or the fact that they didn’t include the bolts for the front exhaust port. But in a pinch they seem to fit my needs att.ajZG5PC6aioNCyqTB1ENTicVwgkvh3QY0mt8NI38ZOo.jpeg

I’ll report any issues after I receive them.
I’m willing to overlook a few things for a price savings like that.

That’s why I suggested using PayPal. I’ve learned to never ***ociate a debit or bank account number with anything bought on line. Even from the hamb

Another thing is that I’m not purposely sending my money to China I’ll wait until Summit or Speedway has them and give them the money that they gave China:D:D:D

She bought using her bank account? Yeah, never do that. Always use an intermediate form of payment.

LOL. You think Summit or Speedway sells only US made stuff? I'll tell you what. I bought two so when they get here to my Midwest door, you can buy a set from me at a slight markup and then you will have given money to the US.
    Deal?

I bought the same headers off Ebay for $79.99 I think. Used them on an engine run stand along with some $20 mufflers. Worked great for what I needed.

Doesn't this sound a little familiar? Several years ago, Holley's distributor, I think it was, had a m*** clearance of a lot of parts, including headers. That time, I scored two sets of polished SS headers for a flathead (center dump and conventional) and a set of polished headers for an early hemi, all for less than $100 a set.

I am now stocked up on headers so I don't mind missing this one. Like you guys, the center dumps are on the engine in my test stand, No mufflers, but they do have extension pipes with bungs for O2 sensors.

I bought the cheap Speedway headers a couple of years back. I think they were about 70 bux. The holes on the main tube did not match the runners. The holes in the main tube were smaller than the runners (restriction?). I used them for mockup, but bought some Red's headers later, which were MUCH better.

So I just got two sets yesterday. Where the holes in the main tube didn't match the runners is only at the top where the merge angle is very acute. The lower part of the joints where the g***es flow around the weld and into the main center tube is smooth. The lip at the top of the joints appear to create a bit of a back flow prevention as it's where the runners merge. The runners do not enter into the center tube so the edge is part of the center tube holes. Think of two rivers merging acutely with a slight sand bar between.
I thought I would have to spend time with a die grinder to reach in and correct any mismatch but I don't know if it would really help anything. Was kind of surprised.

IMG_9585.jpeg Had the Temu and speedway headers here, sorry but Temu beat the speedway hands down, good welding and actually opened inside on the merge, the speedway ones were F**king shocking out of the box. You really need to check them before fitting.

These are the Temu. They look much better IMO. Still a lot of crystallization so they didn't back gas the welds but...

Red's Headers here. Spent more for sure. No dents required.

I hate sending money to China.

Not always; the ones I got on the Holley closeout were excellent.

I've bought several car parts including a wiring harness from Temu that were delivered from US warehouses and am thinking that a far amount of it is bootlegged items that were made in China for a name brand company and put in plain boxes. A lot of the same items are sold on Amazon including that wire harness.

I agree with only using Paypal or similar outfit to pay with or have one credit card with a low limit to use.

Well my own address mistake allowed me to miss the delivery of these pipes But it turned out to be a good thing.
A dealer was selling the same exact headers on eBay. And I got them close to the same price.
eBay offered 10.00 off if you’d sign up for their app. Got them for 82.00 with free shipping.
For those of you who missed the first sale… this one would be the one to jump on.

  28. I picked up these same cheap headers a few weeks ago for my project AV8. I figure the cost of these stainless headers is similar to buying a set of stainless header flanges, and starting from scratch. I've been impressed with the weld quality of a few of the cheap chinesium headers I've used for OT engines in the past, so I picked these up in hopes that I'd have to do less custom fabrication.

Overall the quality is as expected. The welds are clean, the flanges seem flat, but as always with any header, I like to surface them. They come with cheap fasteners for all but the larger front port bolt holes. Gaskets are typical run of the mill cheapies.

I know I'll need to modify the driver side header extensively due to clearance issues with my F1 steering box. I'll attack that once I get the box into position on the frame rail. It's likely that I'll have to at least cut the primaries apart and build custom center and rear primaries and merge them together at the collector.

I decided to throw the p***enger side header on, and the bottom of the rear primary hits the terminal stud of the starter. A little heat and a few taps with a hammer cleared that up.
