Back in 1969, when I got out of the Army, A friend of mine bought an OT by 3 yrs Plymouth Fury I. He got it from two guys that raced it. It no longer had the drive train they raced it with but was replaced with a 2 barrel 383. The car was metallic red, and they had it repainted in the same color. When it was wet you could see some of the lettering that was on the car. I don't remember the cl*** that it ran in but there was lettering on the sides and the trunk. The cool thing about it was it said "NHRA Record Holder" on the quarter panels. The car was totaled when someone ran a red light and wrecked the car.

  2. The rest of the lettering is pretty nostalgic, here is what is on the trunk, credit to speed hunters. 46B406FA-5976-4779-A688-EC63BFA0707E.jpeg

Not on a car but on the transom. I always wanted a wild, pickle fork speedboat that had to be trailered at 45 degrees like Miss Budweiser and call it "Lunatic Fringe". I would have the song start when the trailer is backed into the water and the hydraulics start to launch the boat. Perhaps a fog machine and some laser lights.

  5. I had a two person little lake rocket boat we were going to tow with my wife’s new beetle at the time, was going to call it “no punch backs”. Another good idea that never quite came to be.

Dunno, but in about 1980 I saw a bright red late model 'Vette driven by a good looking woman with California vanity plates "RDHTPUC" on Highway 163 going south toward downtown San Diego...

Had a friend that had a 60's B body Mopar, named it "Miss B-haven"

    Always thought it was funny.

I recall a local fellow who had a very nice very fast 66 Barracuda with the name Quicksilver painted on the trunk lid tastefully in 3” Tall letters. The car was Silver of course and could really move.

I always thought it’d be neat to build a 60s Ford Falcon with a full tube ch***is and cage , flared fenders and big tires all around.
Nicely finished with smooth body and paint powered by a 427 side oiler or a nasty SOHC Ford engine.

I envisioned it being called the Millennium Falcon.
