The seller reminds me of the guy I got my flathead from, he would just go wildy off tangent on whatever topic or question I had.
I looked it up and found the ad, and I see you're holding out on us- You didn't mention the PT Cruiser that can be had for just $250 more when you buy the "Nash" and the "single axis" trailer. Wild.
That has been for sale on Craigslist on and off for about 5 years now and the owner you cannot get a straight answer from him ever.
Pretty sure that ch***is and firewall is Willy’s and that turtledeck aperture sure looks like the header and windshield surround from one too..
Equipped28, I think you are spot on with this! If you look at the trunk area, it looks like you can see where the Willys windshield wiper posts are located.
About 10 years ago, an ad appeared selling a complete Wayne head setup for a 235/261 Chev 6. This was located in England. I contacted the person expressing an interest and asked them to find a company to pack and ship. They disappeared and then several years later popped up again. I contacted them again to say I was flying to Belfast where the equipment was located. The ad immediately disappeared and I have not seen them since. Several postings on the HAMB indicated the same experience with this ad. Their responses were similar to what Joey has had. Has anyone seen this 'Nash'? I'd be very su****ious. Warren
Here's the ad. The wording here reflects that Joey was emailing with the en***y that posted, too. https://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/bar/d/union-city-1929-convertible-nash/7911904136.html
Had a similar experience when I was looking for an apartment when I was between houses. One looked very promising, but the owner/landlord only sent me one email response asking me if I owned a vacuum cleaner. After several more attempts to reach him and not hearing back, I found another apartment. Six weeks after I moved in, I finally got an email from him asking if I was still interested or not.
