IIRC, the car was propped on top of four extra Ardun heads during display for the AMBR. Mind blowing!
Ermie Immerso was a colorful character who owned all kinds of interesting cars and stuff. I remember seeing photos of his shop and all of the interesting stuff lying around. Like Isky, it seemed like he never got rid of anything. Gone too soon…. Nice roadster.

I never noticed before that his initials were included in the nerf bars. It appears to have survived well since it was built, there's some cracked paint on the rubber biscuits in the motor mounts but that's the only blemish I can see in the photos.
This I am surprised at, though I shouldn't be given Petersen selling off cars is nothing new. Be interesting if it sells anywhere near the 2005 price of $522,000. If I had the coin I would buy the Butch Martino Deuce and return it to how it won AMBR in '90 also Impact '33 that won in 2001 Again I am surprised they are selling any of the AMBR cars, they have a few
Gotta agree with that. Styles and owners change, but the AMBR cars are the upper end of provenance, even if they don't suit your taste.
Boy, the details…. It’s tasteful at the outset and the details nail it. No wonder it won. I am surprised that it doesn’t have a Quickchange although that is one nice looking banjo.
She's beautiful but definitely won't be driven.Will be hidden in some wealthy guys huge garage with the rest of his Garage Queens.
