Funny I had a post deleted for “modern wheels”
Which were from the 70’s Indy champ500’s pin drives installed by **** Magoo. Moderators need to do some double checking as I see a bunch of posts here with modern wheels.
Maybe it was the Ferrari engines that ruffled their feathers.

I'm thinking it's because your roadster is "too cool for school", it induces a sudden surge of jealous paranoia, at least it has that effect on me.

 

Denny I had posted a picture of our old Magoo built Vicky which didn't fit the site, no worries on my end. I'll leave them with my other Roadster which may be a better match.

After 17 pages of 32's in this thread. I tend to agree with Moriarity about the Lil Coffin being the best 32.

 

17 pages of outrageous 32's. We may not have convinced Mark but I found a few I'd choose over the Coffin. So many people left them alone, mild touches and basic engines, but a few (17 pages worth and counting) saw something different and went for it. Gotta love it.

 

Hey Billy, you seem to be leaving a long trail of X's behind you. When you find a pic, try opening it in a new tab, then saving it on your device (right click / "save as"). You can then upload the saved file, and hopefully the X problem will clear up....

 

I have noticed that. I normally save them to my folder and use them but I cut a couple of corners. Ooops.

As far as 32 Fords go, I lean towards "Less Is More". I have been around these cars my whole life, I am in my mid 50's. My Dad was a 32 Ford enthusiast and car builder so I have had my hands on few. I am currently building a 5 window, with the "Less is more" approach. I just finished a 27 roadster that has more real Deuce parts on it than most cars that show up at a Deuce Day event. I digress, However when I think of the Best ones they still look like a Deuces and have a lot original parts on them I.E. original dropped axles, original dropped head light bars and K members. Here is a photo of my 27 hiboy and a favorite little coupe my dad built.

Reading this thread again is still a feast for the eyes!
Ever since first seeing the Orange Crate featured in Hot Rod in the early '60s, it has always, in my eyes been the epitomy of over the top pure artistic, functional and timeless perfection. But, I like mostly all '32s.
There's something to be said about the simplicity and honesty of this one that I've had the pleasure of seeing during the build and showings. Not an over the top, extravagant build...just a treat to see.

 

I like mine.

 

This thread is still one of my favourite morning coffee distractions.
Man there are tons of beautiful rides shown.
As for my fav…..the Busby 5W….buildable…and more importantly…driveable.
But like every 32 on here, I’d still mess with it if it were in my garage.
Hot rods and Harleys all need to be personalized.

The '32 that always stuck in my mind, was Gary "Goodguy" Meadors chopped 32 sedan when it had fenders and dark tinted gl***. I saw it for the first time in my hometown of Visalia, California rolling into the Valley Roadsters, annual Roadster Round-Up get together. This was in the mid 70's, sitting on my Schwinn Stingray on Main Street. Bright yellow paint, Buick wires and great stance. Years later we were at a local show in Reedley California close to his hometown "Dinuba", he and I sat on the lawn and he mentioned how he really liked it full fendered too!
