@Rolleiflex the roadster I posted is the same car a few years later after Brian sold it. It’s been here in Kansas City for close to a decade now. I love it!

Sticking a bulbous '32 shell on the front usually ruins the lines. They'll go uphill from the cowl and edge out the front and ruin the relation of the radiator to the front tires. There, I've said it. (Better go into hiding.)
Some people forget that Ford Ts and As dominated the AMBR award for the first 28 years, with only one '32 winning in that time period (1956) and it was 1978 before another one won.

This one is a favorite of mine. Jim Travis' roadster when it was the subject of a Rod & Custom Rod Test.
The reason we used the 32 grill shell and radiator because it was already set up for a V8 money was tight. There was no 1-800-hot rods so we used whatever was available at the time.
Danny, sorry, that’s a 30-31.. I always thought they were the plain sister of the 28-29’s and the 32’s. And I owned one for 30 years. I drove several 29’s before I built my 31, and 29 sure felt smaller in the ****pit length. Still a NICE roadster.

If done right, no it doesn't. That is an import part of the look. The sides need to be trimmed appropriately 2.5"
The **** Flint car as posted above by B***, it's been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. I'm no longer a kid, and it's still a favorite of mine. There's a clone of it out there somewhere, and I be happy with that one too.
Gary Meador's (RIP) liked the Flint car too. His Roadster was built with the styling cues of the Flint car, but of course it had to be Goodguys yellow. *****en car.
