I am sure there are a number of newsreels about this, but thought this long 3D presentation was well done. Always knew it was a marvel of engineering, but wow.
Watched a show on the history of it not long ago. One thing that stuck in my head was that there is like 12 million rivets holding it together.
Yeah, I avoid AI as much as possible. Shut it off if I get get tricked. I've got a favorites folder that has most of the channels I like.
Congratulations on making such a magnificent presentation. I believe that bridge was built in 1933. Just think - all with slide rules. No computers. Truly inspiring reflecting the brilliance of mankind. It's humbling.
Awesome is not too strong a word to use. The thought and consideration given to the smallest details is staggering. The cable saddles and winding operation are brilliant. Logistics like staging material and consistent supplies were a feat unto themselves. Steel made here in Pennsylvania was shipped through the Panama C**** instead of across the country by rail. Great video!
A great use of modern animation techniques. As a kid I read a lot about the building of the great bridges, tunnels and that kind of thing. This level of animation would have been fantastic, then.
