that is more than 3 in less than 5 minutes..... painted cars are faster than rusty cars, more aerodynamic

Yea man! We are all here for you! :D
Your time, effort, and paint expenses doesn't cost us anything.
I'm sure all those pitching for the paint job have already signed up to do a solid 16 hours of free sanding time for you, to ***ist you with your expenses...
I'm way too lazy for that! Run it as it is!

And while your at it @Lloyd's paint & gl*** we want a full diamond tuck interior and that front axle needs chrome!

  14. Lol I'm a wuss then. You personally know how much work is involved. The majority of people of the hamb participate in threads that complain about how much it costs lmao! I have learned over 7 years here not to build your car to suit anybody but yourself. ;) see you at Lloydfest 4

Some people forget there just cars. Meant to be driven and have fun.
Like me I change cars whenever something comes along that I like.
It's just a car meant to be bought and sold. There not living things.
Drive it like you want and sell when you want.
I've sold 3 and bought 2 in the past year. Had fun with all of them.
I couldn't imagine having the same car for 30 years. I like to many to have just one.
    Can't keep them all.

  19. Well that was a winter plan, and then it developed a noise, and on top of that, my shop has gained more steam than I ever planned for. So it didn't happen lol. Imagine you bring your car to my shop for a $10k paint job, and there's 10 other cars there going through the same process, plus upholstery jobs, cutting gl***, etc... and you walk in my shop to see me working on my car.... that doesn't go over well with customers. And when night time rolls around, I'm tired. Saturdays I work on customer jobs until 2ish, and usually do something for myself. I play music in a bar somewhere most weekends, and I try to save Sunday for my kids and grandchildren. So yeah, it'll probably be painted if it doesn't relocate. But we'll see. I have a 62 falcon g***er and a 39 ford cruiser to build for myself also. Plus a 1971 Shasta camper

  20. Will you and Mary pay the shop?? :p:D

  21. Truth: Build it for yourself.

I’m very happy that your retirement career has become so busy. Good for you man! Kids, grandkids, hot rods, and rock n roll, awesome!!!

I'm sure Lloyd will not be swayed by us serving up a healthy ration of $hit once in while. I'm sure he knows it's all in good fun and will move forward in his own way. Rock on there Big Daddy!

Build and sell that's what keeps the wheel turning.

It is not your car it is advertising for the shop is what it is. The cost can be written off on taxes. Ask your accountant.

The pic @Tickety Boo posted is wild. Nomad roof and doors, non Nomad wheel wells and side trim.

Man, I didn't even notice that but you are right. One way or the other, someone did quite a bit of work to that car. I wonder if it wasn't a rusty Nomad that ended up with sheetmetal off of a wagon or something. I honestly kind of like it...but the slots and paint could also be swaying me...lol
