I would love to know the story behind that pic. Good luck with your knee replacement, I've had 2 done, new shoulder and I'm looking down the barrel of a new hip, cheers

old pictures are so cool. It is really too bad that 50 years from now that there will be no pictures from today to look at. eventually the digital formats that some pics are stored on will become obsolete making the photos vanish. Imagine if you found a 30 year old floppy disc in a drawer with pics on it, could they be accessed somehow? I vote that everyone print all their photos and put em in photo albums (I do it) for the future

I agree with Mark. I bought a pic printer online a while back for car and kid/grandkid pics, and I need to get it out of the box and see if I can make it work.
I have tons of old car show pics in albums and boxes, from about 1979 (1st Merc Deuce), KKOA and KOA stuff in the 80s and 90s, Nats South in the 70s on up, and lots of Gatlinburg pics. I need to get something going on these, put a few on here, too. Thanks for the nudge.

there is a cell phone app called free prints. they will print 85 pictures a month for you for the cost of shipping. I think it is like 8 bucks... paper pictures, that is the future....

  15. When I see a picture like this I always wonder what would possess anyone to do that with a Merc.

No issues with my total knee replacement. Just follow the Ortho's instructions and do the PT religiously. Getting ready for shoulder surgery. 6 weeks in a sling. Hopefully I'll be able to follow my own advice. Thanks for the photos.

I wonder if they were able to save it. Went to Mexico once in a while when stationed in San Diego and those guys were pretty creative in doing things without much equipment or money.

I like the fact that the guy is trying to pull a 2-ton car, sideways, off that cliff with a rope and someone is more amused taking pictures than lending a hand. Tequilla, the devil's teat.

went from film to digital in 2004 and kept them on CD's. I came across a few CD's with no pictures at all, my 8 megapixel camera made 3456 x 2304 photos, some are now 1536 X 1024 and the quality has diminished quite a bit. some are even smaller than that. I recently put them all on an auxiliary hard drive. only time will tell if that format does not fail. I have 49,500 photos in my car show folder on my hard drive. everything older than 2005 is smaller than original
