Nope, it was in 2016, and that was the only year they did the nitro cackle fest ring of fire!

Is that seat bolted to what I think it is? Lumber seat mounts?

 

^^ Does have that look. But hey, they do look like they are new pieces of 2" x 4" lumber...
Must have spent all his money on the gauges, couldn't afford angle iron to mount the seat.

I remember an experience like that. Mine was with an OT 68 Plymouth. I was doing body work on the car and had just finished the front end. I was on my way back to the gas station where I worked, it had just started raining, and I was going up a hill with a traffic light at the top. I was going to make a left turn at that light, it had a left turn lane, and that lane was open. The light was already green. Some guy from the straight through lane decided he wanted to turn left at the last minute, but then he stopped at the green light! I almost got stopped! It was just a bump on the right front corner of the Plymouth, the bumper bent back a couple inches, and the front fender bowed out like the one in the picture. The guy jumped out of his car, saw the bent front bumper and the bowed out fender and said "Sorry man!" then he jumped back into his car and took off. I drove to the station and there were 3 or 4 of us standing there ****yzing how to fix the damage on the front end, just like the guys in the picture.
Guess I wasn't done doing body work on the front fenders after all.
