The recess on the axle painted blue on a car that color? Well, OK I guess, if that's what you like.

Back wheel/tire size is all wrong. Way too small in diameter.

I thought the same thing. Unfortunately, a lot of people on here have no sense of proportion.

I like that you posted a new one I haven't seen before, but I won't be using that one as a guide!
At least it isn't a copycat, cut 'n paste, generic T!

naw, it's a show car. something not unusual to find in a mid-60 car craft mag. now and then magazine editors would have artist concepts of where they thought hot rodding was headed (think hot rod mag/xr6) and i think it reflected the influence of the emerging youth market with pony cars, et al. i've seen sketches of similar front and rear ends.

flip open mags from this era and you would see features on custom idea for hot rods. i like this one actually, better looking than a lot of late 50s custom cars with horrible proportions and mods. i'd lose the lanterns though.

  26. It looks like 'NSW' at the top of the plate so that would be New South Wales, Australia.

Not 100% sure on that though.

Also, it looks like a Model A, not a T to me.

    Glen.

  27. Correct on all counts Glen. And whats that little red 4 cyl Altered peeking in on the righthand side of the photo . My, my, it's only the ugliest :D Morris Minor ever posted on the h.a.m.b. ( more than once ) Maybe most dangerous too . btw, the little green hotrod has British Ford V8 Pilot wide 5 hubcaps. Only wide 5 hubcaps ever made without a V8 emblem in the cap.
