I think it's a killer idea and can't wait to see you wearing it on the Salt in August. My hats off to the artists that are volunteering their time and talent to help support the HAMB.

    Count me in Larry.....
I can do something similar to this only smaller....My 'art' is pretty crude, but it I think it would look 'authentic' to the '40's:D

  3. Here is a pic of an old decal I removed from the rear axle of my 57 Pontiac;dates to around the mid 60's.

Safariknut "is the man". I had him do two of them for me before I went to Bonneville this year and they turned out killer, to say the least. Just tell him what you want to see.

I'd love to be a part of that. Great idea! Maybe a girl on a bomb! Or were you thinking more of reproduction of an old decal?

It's a great idea Larry. The only draw back I can see is if someone flakes out on the work. I did a similar thing a few months ago with the blades from my ceiling fan. Four blades came back on time and were absolutely brilliant. Thanks guys (you know who you are). The fifth blade is missing in action. I can't get the last guy to send me the blade. I paid up front for all work and shipping both ways. I now have a useless fan, as they no longer make the same fan, I'm having trouble even buying another one to get a replacement blade. I'm not trying to rain on your parade, just be careful who you send it to.

I've got a lot of this stuff but most is in Poland or packed up... Sorry. My helm used for many years is patched with a bunch-0-200 mph tape cause I run into things wearing it! :) I can't tell you how many times it's saved my head

OK maybe if I count the tape layers
