Hell, he gave up half his horsepower gain just turning all those blowers. And there ought to be some law preventing anyone from doing that to a Vette.

Hah, maybe not. I rebuilt a few 6-71 blowers in the Navy so if he's just running a straight through shaft with no rotor just so he has a pulley to spin it's even more of a waste. If they're complete a blower boosting a blower boosting another blower seems as pointless as the whole getup. I need to stop looking at it. Wish I had his money.

I agree. Is that even mechanically possible even if it's missing internals? Seems like bs...

I know what I paid for a new polished Littlefield years ago, so this guy spent a sh*tlo*d of money to end up with only 1500 HP. Kudos for shock value though.

It’d work better as a diesel. If all five blowers are functional, each is adding heat. A diesel, with its separate injection system, can ignore that heat. If, as I suspect, four are empty, he’s giving up quite a bit of efficiency. If all are functional, he has to be running water/methanol injection or some other heat management system.
I’d laugh if all five were empty and there was a Procharger or nitrous system under the hood.

  18. You shouldn’t do that to an automobile, you really shouldn’t.

Interesting that the work done looks like it was well done. But the vision? Mushrooms? Weed? Both?
