Is it gasoline? Who has that much gas just laying around? Or that many gas cans, for that matter? A bit more explanation is needed, I want to know the situation that lead to this.

All that gasoline from my earlier post....
I don't really know the story, I didn't pry. But some of it is already being put to good use in the fleet!

God, I hope my neighbours weren't paying attention!

It's not so bad as it looks, the drums are only partially full.

Was there more than one rocket car or had it been repainted?

Sold a bunch of stuff at the swap meet. Didn’t buy much else, but the remains of a Hurst Dual/Gate were cheap, and I'm a Hurst junkie. The cans have been on the same dude's table for at least 3 years running. I always think about them after its over. This year they came home with me. Because I like 'em. The sign is also hand painted, from a rail yard in P***adena MD.

If I were closer I'd give you a 9" out of a 57 and I'd take that car and put it back on the road

The 58 was hit in the right front , buckled the fender and rolled the grill in . This happened in 68 there it was left in a pasture. I don’t know why it wasn’t repaired. It was a beautiful car at one time . The floor pans are rusted out . But I would have traded you .

Some stuff from a local estate sale this weekend. The flyswatter with the built-in scoreboard and the tag line "Hit'em a good 'lick'" is my favorite, a solid 50 cent investment.

  26. Freshly picked up from the auction today. The Roaders Journal is for size reference. About an eight pound hammerhead with a striking face similar to what they use to drive railway spikes, the other end is chisel like on a 45 degree angle. If I find out the purpose I will put it in my next 4-H quiz. The pipe wrench has a Feb 4, 1913 patent date. 71478A29-6E7C-4A61-BBD8-18E9FB58ED5C.jpeg 91B0726F-7F49-450C-A658-AE01BDF5DFE9.jpeg
