Funny Cars

It appears that you and I are the only funny car fans.

 

That ***umption would be incorrect!

 

The manufacturer's meet at OCIR was always fun.

Not true! Anything on nitro and I'm in! Funnies are great, but any time the body flies off, they become a Fuel Altered, which makes them even better. Not for the crew, but at least now the driver can see. Not a big fan of the modern doorstop, but it's the same old monster underneath.

 

Once again, the comment was about contributors, not about the cl***.

 

Saw that happen to the Hawaiian at Portland International Raceway in the early 70's.

 

I might of posted earlier not sure.
My brother and I used to walk by this daily on our way to school. Powers and Riley invented the reverser, also pioneered some other funny car stuff.
