Thanks for sharing, that is a great selection of cars. Just figured it out and it has been 28 years since I have been to Pleasanton.

Based on the headlights my guess would have been 40 Olds. But the hood and fenders seem more like the Chevy stuff. Cool Kustom, I'm curious what front end parts resulted in the finished product.

the headlights sure do look like Olds, but the dash is definitely Chevrolet.

Not doubting it's a Chevy, just commenting on the features that look like an Olds.

after looking at the Olds pics you posted I had to go do a double check. the headlights are exactly like the Olds:)

  12. The 40 Chevy headlights have been molded to the fenders.

If the thing was done more than 50 years ago, I'm betting someone used olds fenders or parts of them. When you look at the grille opening size and the headlights, that seems more likely than sinking, extending, and molding the Chevy lights to get exact olds looking lights.

  14. When Ron got the car, the headlights were not molded to the fenders. It has stock 40 Chevy headlights that are molded to the fenders. Ron molded them to the fenders when the car was redone years ago.
