Hey all, just wanted to introduce myself to the message board. Picked up a 56 Plymouth Savoy 4 door with the 230 ci flathead (pic in profile), and will post more pics once the Michigan weather here clears up and I can pull it out in the sun. Currently I'm working on installing a new wiring harness from Speedway motors (realizing quickly I could have gone with a 12 versus 22 circuit) and focusing on electrical, fuel, and braking systems to get it to daily driver status for summer. It originally came from Indiana so the rust on it isn't TOO bad, but like my last project Plymouth (and probably many other people's), some previous owner hit it with early rubber "undercoating", creating lots of pockets for rust and water to sit in rather than keep moisture out (eyeroll). It's an adventure. Hoping to link up with others with similar era Mopars and learn/share a few things along the way :)
