^^^^^Maybe he has been secretly building the car for the last six years and just randomly posted the build here.:D

  2. Even considering the AI rendered April fools gag...best looking $4k deuce 5 window on the planet! (IMHO).

AI or not, it does look great in that colour.

You can ask AI to use a specific paint code, or you can just ask it for a generic colour and it may or may not be able to provide you with a paint code. In my experience even asking it to use a specific paint code doesn't always yield exact results, as in the colour of the actual paint and what AI shows you don't always match.

I told the boss the other day we should be 2 weeks behind on the photos for the customer to help with a dead line! :p

This A-I thing is a great tool at least in this example, but so very much is changing all too fast... fake art, doctored photos, robots etc. & yes rockets to the moon & back, all in the name of progress. A world changing all around us!

Inching away at this car. I figured out I didn't have a high beam indicator light. I found a couple of these NOS red jewel lights

So I laid out and drilled a hole for it in the gauge panel.

Then dis***embled the dash so the panel could go out for plating with the latest batch of parts

    Any progress is progress, right?

Surely, 'latest' is going to be "last" in the not too distant future. You've got to be down to short strokes on what's left to chrome at this point!

Also, going to feel less guilty when I order another chromed steering box from you...

I think this batch gets it about 98% there, but I know there will still be a few small bits of hardware that will pop up on final ***embly.
