junkyard for sure, there is a bad *** one in the belaire area (near traverse) cool as snot, 50-60 cars and tons ofem'. I am actually starting a new project at work in rochester hills. not too far at all. no copper, the g***er is gone, not parts

Another Charlotte guy here. Are you guys thinking of the yard up in Vestaburg.? I get all over the Great Lakes region for work. This week Im in Platteville Wis.
Vestaburg might be a lost cause by now? I'm gonna try to get up there this week though. I had all last week off work, the weather was good, and I got sick on Monday and have been in the house ever since. I had a dream about that place the other day, it's like an addiction, by far my most favorite place ever.
Anybody know a guy near Merrill that had a lot of old Chevelles? I'm looking for a 65 if you guy know of anything. There's also the one you can see off the e-way ,75 , near West Branch. Theres a little bit of old **** in there.
I know a guy that lives in Merrill Lived there all his life. if a guy had Chevelles he'd know about them. However, he's in Hawaii at the moment. I'll have to get back at ya.
PS... I live in Grand Ledge, Anyone been to Joe's in Spring Lake lately? used to have a bunch of cool stuff. Been 5-6 years since I was there. The last time someone was havesting what was left of a 32 Ford 3w. Talk about a rough piece! Was using 2x4 to support the body so it wouldn't collapse on itself.
Hey Duece Pheaton, keep me informed, whens he gonna be home? I've never been to Joe's but I've heard of it I think. It's on the west side of the state right? I was in the thumb the other day, sort of, Forestville. I like it over there.
I'm in Bay City and there are a few HAMBers local (donzie, Fuelpump, Hatch) and the Flint boys are just 50 miles south. We usually have a GMB (long story, we'll tell you some day ) get together about twice a year and Birch Run has been the most popular point. Just watch for the announcement here on the HAMB and make plans to join us. If you ever get to the tri-city area PM me and I'll give you directions to my place or a point we can meet. I'll give you a guided tour of my indoor junkyard (especially nice now that it's getting winter time) and take you around to some of the other guys locations. Frank
He's in the middle of a 2 week trip. I'll email him, perhaps he's picking up his e-mail in Ha.. Ya, Joes in just about to the big lake. Just missed a set of adjustable pushrods for a 324 Olds at that place. Looked at the car once. thought about, what if, after i was home. went back and someone had been into the motor while I was gone. The car was untouched with a set of headers on it. they were the sign it might have something to hide. Snooze/looze.. There used to be a 62 Pontiac Limo in the woods there. not sure what happend to that. Would have been a bad azz luxo-cruizer.
I am in VERY southwest corner, near indiana...town called Baroda, outside of St. Joseph / Benton Harbor area. I am planning on getting a new shop by the first of the year, maybe we can get a spring gathering together....although I am pretty far away from all your folks.

Hey chopper, is the junkyard your talking about that you can see from 75 in alger? I've been to that one. He had lots of stuff there including a mostly complete impala ss convertible. My parents live over that way and I go through there now and then. Anybody interested in seeing if the guy with the diesel truck junkyard in sterling will let us roam? I was thinking about checking that place out at some point. Some ol peterbuilt gauges would be sweet for my truck. I heard he was starting to s**** stuff out so he may not be there much longer if he's even still there now.
I might be down to go there this weekend. My mom's boyfriend has a place in Farwell, not to far from there. I might be up there this weekend. I think it is Alger, not far from Sterling I think.
that was nick and that was one of joes old dirt track cars. Its all togeather now and cool as hell. There was a pic of it around here some were.
