Why do cigarettes only come in a 20 pack? No supersize, no grab-n-go mini.

One of the things MB did right was the two position hood hinges. Regular opening for quick service, but a ****on on each side allowed it to pivot up to vertical. Those would be nice to modify for customs.

Just don't sell singles in New York!
That isn't a puzzler as much as the hot dogs and buns sold in different per-pack numbers!;)

Hey! I also worked at an ENCO gas station when I was 16, I drove my ‘32 Victoria to work, washed it between customers then put it in the lube bay. I locked up every night so I left the car in the bay, and walked home. I had to be back at the station by 7am to get the Vicky out of the bay so the owner would not ***** at me. Then I headed to school, I always drove a clean car to high school.

Always wonder how a torque converter works. Thought I knew, then read somewhere that they weren’t sealed. I think there is a pump as well. Not sure. Thought it was just two halves with vanes where one half spun the other half using the friction of fluid circulating.

Why is it called an arm chair when it only has 2 arms but 4 legs? Shouldn’t it be called a leg chair? Or an arms and legs chair? These are the earth shattering questions that keep me awake at night!

I was driving my 1960 Pontiac Catalina at that point. Mr Kelly didn’t allow us to work on our own cars there but I still liked working for him. I learned a lot from him. He hired me as a pump jockey but he gave me my first chance to do mechanical work - water pump replacement on a ‘58 Chevy 283. I had done oil changes and tire rotation at my first job but that was my first solo under the hood ***ignment.
My Pontiac came from Illinois and had some major rust. Mr Kelly used to sell doctored up used cars on the front row of his parking lot. He got his bodyman to fix my rotted out front fenders for $40 and I had Earl Scheib paint it Marina Blue. It looked great. I eventually sold it to a guy at my high school who tagged a high curb and the Bondo came out of the front fender. The guy had stuffed newspaper in the huge rusted out hole and Bondoed over it! Lol.

If you drop a bar of soap on the floor, is that spot clean or is the soap dirty?

If we call goats rams and a donkey an ***, then why is a ram in the *** a goose?

I'm guessing that it had something to do with being able to fit in your shirt pocket.

Most shop manuals used the ****ogy of one fan that was turned on making the blades of another fan directly across from it move even though the second fan was turned off.

My wife has a beauty salon. I concur, though the actual words are less 40 grit than ours the subject matter is equal to or more. One of them wanted to go somewhere, husband said no. Next thing ya knew she was going. "I thought he said no." "Nah, I blew him." I said, "Damn, need anything from me?"

What about wheelchairs, they have arms but they’re not arm chairs. So leg chairs makes sense.

I have read somewhere that nicotine only lasts about 45 to 60 minutes in a smoker´s body, so after about an hour or less the smoker´s getting the itch for the next one. If the smoker needs at least one cig every hour, there should be about 20 in a pack to cover his day. At least that´s what I´ve read .

How can something be “new” and “improved”?
if it’s new, what was it improving on?

If a woodchuck can chuck wood and shelly sells seashells by the seashore while the wheels on the bus go round and round why do shoe laces become untied as your sitting still?

  22. You don't want to know what a "Snit" is!
It doesn't matter which way a hood goes up or down, or sideways and disappears under the car, if it has a V8 with a rear-mounted distributor , you still have to do yoga to get in there and work on it.

They used to back in the late '50s-early 60's. Some brands, you could buy a pack of 5 or 10. When I was a teenager, a quarter would buy me a full pack of unfiltered Camels. Tee shirts didn't have pockets, so you rolled them in your shirt sleeve. People always told me that smoking would stunt my growth so by my calculations, if I'd stopped smoking at 16, I'd probably be somewhere around 9' 14" now.

I've considered that possibility Mike, But I doubt she could ever find an astonishing "love machine" such as myself...I'm irreplaceable.

How did the cherry smell get into the men's room at the old gas stations. Why was there a gag gift machine next to the rubber machine ???
Who in their right mind would pick the gag over the rubber if you only had one quarter ???
