Mounts on a tapered and keyed shaft, just like original. Fits on the original 1932 Ford (1 1/2" diameter) steering column. I wanted an original wheel for my '32 5 window coupe, but could not find a decent one. I asked a gentleman (a vendor) at the L.A. Roadster show about restoring one for me. He told me he wouldn't bother with that, but instead would make me a brand new one. The quote? $2500.00 !!!
