Coming back from Dragging the Gut McMinnville Oregon 2023 and came across this random meeting in traffic. We all had a good laugh. Just found the pics from that day thought I'd share. I was following in my '57 Ford.
I’ve got a friend who has built several, I believe it’s six or seven copies of the Milner coup. He builds them and swears they are the last one but he ends up selling them to fund the next build or make his banker happy. He’s one of those who builds on borrowed money. But he always ends up with another one, I think he’s bought one back and sold it again.
There was a guy here who built a pretty good copy of the 32, do***ented the build then sold it.... haven't seen him lately
Kinda like Me & @Lloyd's paint & gl*** ....... Booger Green VS Barney Purple! For those who are interested Paul has been in the hospital for a very long time after what I believe was a really bad case of Pneumonia. I read his stuff on FB. As cool as the OP's pic is, and not to be a killjoy...but I'm not sure that is even a Ford coupe. Check out the width of that rear window.
To me, that's great news, I would rather see stock restorations of 55 Chevys and deuce coupes than AG clones ad nauseam!
Bob's 55 was reported to be a tube ch***is 454 by one of the car mag's. Was the same car from Two-Lane Blacktop.
