It’s really irritating when you only post a link…. At least grab one screen shot so we can see what was listed for sale. Links die when the item is no longer listed.

1932 Ford B ( 4 banger ) for sale in Germany for €12000. Bit steep. RHD and a filled roof would probably be from Argentina. Back then they liked to repaint their old cars once a year instead of buying something else . I've had a few model A tudors from Argentina with filled roof and the workmanship was spot on.

 

Not real cheap, but if you want to get into a rod today...

1926 Chevy Pickup - This is the cheapest, All-American Hot Rod you will find on Craigslist PERIOD. I am a worn out 83 year old man & this is without quest, a perfect driving 100 year old hot rod & because of my age, it is my las hot rod. It has a rebuild 235 Chevy 6 from 1960. It has a 5-speed shift overdrive transmission. It has a 2949 Ford Pickup Truck Banjo Rear. Early Ford 1948 circa Ford drum brakes all around. Split dual exhaust system for that beautiful twin-pipe sound of a Chevy 6. Now folks, at a snap of a finger you could drive this car to New York because it does not smoke, leak, knock or tick - it is a tight rebuilt engine. IT RUNS GREAT! It is all steel, no fibergl*** or plastic. The brake lights once worked but the other day someone told me "Hey, your brake lights aren't working." All the other lights work. The only gauge that works is an oil pressure gauge mounted on the engine & shows great oil pressure. So I would say the only problems are the small things that I never really cared about anyway. But all the BIG things are Fantastic

 

As much as I am an "inline" guy that line is too long.

 

It's got the Lady Luck on the cowl! Yeah the nose is kinda long but you'd never run into it's twin anywhere

I don't see a clutch pedal either. So must be an automatic not 3 on the tree

We just got this in at AAC.

For Sale 1956 Oldsmobile 88 2dr sedan.
This is a really solid old car that has been stored under cover for decades, and is pretty much rust free. Surprisingly fired up with very little work, and still runs quite nice. After over 70 years of utter disdain for these cars, I find this oddly compelling and and having thoughts about what I would do if I had one.

I must be getting senile.

 

Looking at the first picture of the Nash, it seems like a “smokin’ deal”…… Sorry, couldn’t resist.

 

I had similar thoughts, wondering what it would look like if it was shortened a bit and made into a 2 door with 56 Rambler wheel wells to start off with.

 

The rear view of that Nash reminds me of a Tatra. If it only came equipped with the Tatra's rear-mounted, air-cooled, V-8 Hemi engine . . .

 

Boy, I don't know. IIRC, those TATRA V8's were on the smallish side and rather anemic. I had a friend a long time ago who had, I think it was a '53 Amb***ador, with the big OHV 6 with the factory dual carb setup. The car was no slouch. ( I believe it also had a Dual-Range Hydra-Matic).

 

The streamlined Nash might get 75 MPG with a small diesel in it.

 

And, painted the right color, look mighty good doing it.

 

Looks like a pretty solid car.
