My work in progress kustom '40 sedan... parts collected are a '57 caddy mill with 4 2 barrels hooked to an early Ford 3 speed with lots of fuzzy fur, swivel buckets,and a full regimen of Stewart Warner twin blue gauges. '59 Corvette taillights and a reshaped rear are coming up soon.

Check ebay for an AMT kit. They had a few cool show rods!

Hoping to have it bodyworked and in primer this fall. I'd like to take it to Kustomville in Wichita.

That flamed 40 was my inspiration for my flamed 33 Chevy in my Avatar

 

I had a 40 Standard coupe in about 63 with a 303 Olds with a 6-2 home-made log manifold on it. I sold it when I bought my first 57 Chevy. The 40 was purchased from a distant cousin. Dwight Strobble, who has an awesome custom build shop now in Central City, NE. They specialize in off-road race trucks and have won several races themselves! My latest ride is a red-headed stepchild to the 40 Fords, a 40 Mercury Town Sedan!
