OK, am I looking at a ‘61-‘63 Pontiac Tempest four that has a RA5 tunnel port head and a unique home made intake on it?

 

Defiantly some M/T stuff.

 

doesn't quite look 'harvey cast' enough for mick...

 

That Tempest four was modified but there are no M/T parts on it. A Ram Air 5 head, Cal Custom valve cover and a fabricated intake all suggest a one-off by an unknown builder.

Another source of that water neck adapter block is Kinsler Fuel Injection. It shows up on page 235 of their catalog. I don’t know how expensive it is.

 

$177.05 unpolished, it’s called a remote thermostat housing.
