    it's a vintage Offenhauser piece,
    I think I found that one on ebay.
    not crazy about the water neck though,
    'might fab one up to replace it..

    . . . read the fine print --you can get monthly payments of only $48.63 for a housing. Well, with the price of gas I guess you might not drive for a while you're saving up for it.

    OK, am I looking at a ‘61-‘63 Pontiac Tempest four that has a RA5 tunnel port head and a unique home made intake on it?

    That Tempest four was modified but there are no M/T parts on it. A Ram Air 5 head, Cal Custom valve cover and a fabricated intake all suggest a one-off by an unknown builder.

    Another source of that water neck adapter block is Kinsler Fuel Injection. It shows up on page 235 of their catalog. I don’t know how expensive it is.
