+1 - People shooting off their mouths about someones build without ALL the information. It should look great.
I want to spin some Kinmontish looking covers to hide our T discs on the cheap. The skinny fronts put them out there for the whole world to criticize.
BTW Tim: Those small shoes you're looking at are the E brake. They work on the inside of the rotor.

Pay no mind to my ranting Alchemy, I too have been on the receiving end a time or two, & my dad an old school lead/metal man, whom as far as I know coined that" boot in the slacks comment "....it was most usually directed in support of someone having done their own body work or fabrication & was being critical of their efforts, it was always followed up with a positive comment of encouragement. I'm certain Gary wants to keep some elements of his latest build on the subtle side & "keep em lookin" perhaps with a bit of plated or polished accents. Ron

Bob: The powder coater that does the small parts is very **** about his work. He coated them once and didn't like the finish so he hand sanded all 8 pieces and re coated them No Charge..

    Just over 50 days left.
I'm with dirt car - "Pay no mind to my ranting Alchemy" - we all have a tendency to opine about what we would do but without knowing the builders final vision it really doesn't apply.

Hey Gary, whatcha gonna use for an air cleaner?

I bet you’ve already considered it, but how about asking the photoshop wizards to show you what the exhaust manifolds would look like in an aluminum color.
Might be a great contrast against the black block and bring the battleship contrast down a bit. I admit I’m biased, but I just love the look of ram horns too much and like when they’re highlighted.:):)

Over the years I've done polished silver ceramic, satin silver and black. I keep coming back to black.

Don’t think you’ll have it done for Pete and Jakes tomorrow but man you’re gonna be cruising in style this summer for sure with how quick it’s moving along!

Aww, man, that's a cheatin'. Wiring w/o the body on & in place? This way, you'll miss all the fun of contortions, muscle cramps, pain in the back n ***, cricks in the neck, etc.
    :D .
    Looks good.

More pictures coming. These will show the new spray on sound deadner and thermal barrier ATAC-DEi. Trying something new. Also the left exhaust pipe redo to correct an error by the exhaust shop. Progress and set backs. Mike at Snyder Street Rods is doing a fantastic job. Lucky to have a shop that cares.
