It actually had headlights under the fenders

 

My post was "tongue 'n cheek". Jim's beautiful '32 is probably the best example of a car that has head lights, but looks like it doesn't, imo.

 

I'm actually surprised no one has cloned that 32 5 window. It's totally *****in'! I had to copy the flame job.

 

I still wonder what ever happened to this car.

On an early hi boy no headlight can look very good , the race car business= cool . But on a 37 and later full fender street car with full fenders and smooth over recesses it starts to look like a Tesla, ( god forbid) Marcel Marceau , faceless, expressionless. It also means that you never drive it as it was meant to be driven.

That was last year at the fantastic "Automobile Enthusiast" meeting near Paris, France.
The next edition is on June 20th and 21st.
I'm really tempted to take the headlights off my car when I get there!
