Technical Early Ford Pedal - How to Mount?

Hi All,

I have this early Ford Pedal that I picked up for my AV8 Tudor. I am not sure how it is supposed to mount to the firewall.

Are there specific brackets for it? Can I use u-bolts? P clamps?

 

Not the best photo but your missing the two mounting brackets. One is a small cap that mounts near the pedal side the other is an eye bolt that mounts near the spring.

 

Aren't B and V8 pedals different? Worth knowing.

 

The OP’s pedal looks like a 33 and up. If you have a 32, the pedal isn’t different between B and V8, but the arm is.

 

I believe it is a '33 and up Pedal.

Any creative ideas on how to mount it without the factory hardware? Or does anyone have the factory hardware they would like to sell?

 

You can buy the mounting cap new. They're not expensive at all. Don't buy them used. The sellers will charge way too much and call it a vintage part.
