Okay, so I know its not a hotrod, but as conservators of vehicles that are small in number, we must love all ******* vehicles.

That being said, I just bought a 60's Econoline van. I'm beginnning a new job, and need a work van. I figured, what the hell, might as well look damn good.

I have no ideas though. None. I already bought some NOS 60's moon syle discs, so that's a starting point, but other than that, I am out of ideas. It's a cargo van, there's no windows on the sides, other than the doors. So there ya go, if anyone is bored or has a secret love for vans, any ideas would be greatly appreciated, because for some reason, my mind is completely shot.

    Thanks.
    Lucky

There have been tons of Econoline vans customized. Do a search here and you should be able to find some ideas. A search for "custom econoline" on Google or the like should also provide results.:)

The secret to a good econoline, is **** carpet, and blonde wood on the ceiling. Burnt Orange paint outside with White Tapestry on the panels -- Gnarly!

I'd keep it simple, like a shop truck, or push vehicle.

I'm considering going the surf van route with it. Which is so out of place in Western Pennsylvania.
I did google. But I hate google nowadays. It is mostly spam results, and good luck finding much on odd vehicles.
Thanks for the suggestions so far guys.
I found a few pictures on here before I posted. I've seen a few of the vehicles, and i know one or two of the owners.

    Try www.ixquick.com
it's a "meta-search" engine, and my favorite... best feature is, when you click a link it takes you to a whole new page, the search results stay in the background, no more back,back,back,back.... just close what you were looking and and go on down the list.

Thanks to everyone. I really appreciate the responses. I just picked up the van today. A few more rust spots than i'd like, but still no more than 6. And nothing too major. Threw some gas down the carb, and it started right up.
