Technical 1947 Mercury project Lowering

    I want to lower suspension on my Mercury, could someone give some advice of how to do it the easy way? :cool: I have attached a pictures of the other car with the same suspension that I have. There isn't any shock-absorbers ( I also looking for tips on how to chop the top on this car :D)

    5 inch Sids axle, reversed eye main leaf, a few leaves removed on the front. Ch***is engineering parallel rear leaves on the rear. That's how I lowered my 48 ford. You could install longer shackles and a reversed eye main on the rear for ease. I made a tool and reversed my own springs. Screenshot_20260524_060739_Photos.jpg
