Just follow up on the original design. The first 50 odd holes were made in the factory

 

How much fun it would be to have that in my garage!

 

That’s a great find, looking forward to more details on the engine, driveline, etc.

 

I had that kit when I was a kid, found at a yard sale. I have always wanted a real one.

 

I've always loved Topolinos. They are so beautiful/ugly. But as dragsters---perfection! Don't know if Jazzy Nelson had the first, but I've loved them ever since.

Thanks for this. I've never seen a stock Topolino ch***is. Looks like it would disintegrate at the first pothole! Lot's of weirdness going on here, but those Italian engineers understood packaging.

 

I still have my Simca 5, same as Topolino hoping to make it my "Swan Song" someday. ,

just about twenty years ago RaceFab and I were all set to put a tupperware version together
somehow it never happened, parts sold, plans changed

 

Wow! Appreciate the write up on my newest find. A few more details. Got the engine in partial tear down. Highly modified 461 castings. 2.02 of course. Engle rev kit. Most likely the same brand roller cam. 2 pc RC Ind ****tershield, LaSalle trans! Halibrand rear, chromed backing plates and axle tubes. Hand brake, Mallory Mag. Moon front cover. Engine looks pretty fresh. Already touched up v.seats with cutters. Ironically, it was memories of that exact model I built in my youth, that got me interested in these fabulous iconic cars.
