I'm going on Saturday but won't have my car ready. I saw a while back there was a certain place where Hambers were going to park. Sure would like to meet up with some of you guys. Will there be some one there that could show me the secret handshzke?

yep, looks like a buncha milspec guys are going from here, me with my 49 chevy P/U me pop-inlaw with his 40 ford, and my two best friends with his 64 ford and an un-named project that hopefully wont break on the way down

 

be there, riding in a civilian pickup with a trailer. Going on to Venice, the owner is picking up a 40 Buick Coupe. We should be there on Saturday. Looking forward to some warmer weather.

Good: I'll be there...Bad : '47 panel won't.....Stitcher was suppose to finish on October 15. He picked it up yesterday................ Smells like a week old can of sardines on a hot summer day to me.

Second year in a row I've left the rod at home because of crap such as this.

 

Will be there with friends various times between Thursday and Sunday. Lots going on up in Bell Aire Plaza too, most nights. Will have a 27 Roadster 85% complete to sell, trailoring it up from Melbourne this Sunday back to Daytona.

 

I'll be there, Thursday through Sunday. I'll be driving a dark blue 51 Henry J and the wife will be driving my orange 48 Chevy coupe.

 

I'll be ther all day Friday. Just driving my sneakers, though. I'm riding in with my buddy in his Chevelle.

 

Does anyone know where any good bands are playing? Psycho Devilles were supposed to be at Harley Davidson, but last I checked they were taken off.

I'll be there all4 day'swith my 27 roadster.I'll be working on the parking crew in morning's.The HAMB parking is in the south east corner of the lake loyd parking area spot #824. I still have a few parking sticker's left if anybody need's one.If you cant find it just ask any of the parking crew guy's where it is.Maybe we can all get together saturday afternoon sometime? Is the HAMB parking area free?

 

Gregg, if you come up with a time for all of us to meet at the HAMB parking, that would be great. I plan on going through there several times over the weekend to see if I can catch someone there.

 

I'll be there on Saturday, but I'll be riding with my dad in his truck. My Bel Air is nowhere near seeing the road.

 

I plan on being there but, unfortunately, not with any of my cars. We're driving south to spend the winter and just plain need a car my wifre is more comfortable with. Ergo, her new Chrysler 300C. Boo Hoo!!! Anyway, I'll be hitching a ride with a good friend in his '63 Pontiac Bonny convert. Hope to see lots of HAMBsters there.

I'll be there hopefully in my 50 Plymouth. Alot of us will be in Southern Grease Pit parking which is right next to the HAMB.

 

I'll be there set up doing striping / lettering. I'll be in the infield (swap meet) area. For some reason, the Car Show Nazis won't let me set my tent up in the car show area. So if anyone wants any painting done, I have to drag my shit around in a wagon.

Where's Bel Air Plaza? I've been going to Daytona for 25 years and I've never been there.

I'm bringing the '34, I have limited space for beer so don't expect me to give any of you assholes one.

 

If you hitch a trailer you could be charitible to us bewildered assholes and give us a beer, if you brought a large trailer we could get drunk together!

Bel Aire Plaza is on the beachside on the northern skirts of Daytona Beach, almost to Ormond Beach. Theres usually a few hundred cars there most nights of the Rod Run with a lot of wheeling and dealing happening. Cops can get kinda picky up there though, just a lil warning.

 

Go east from the Speedway all the way to A1A (N. Atlantic Ave). Take a left (north), go through all the traffic, continue for a few miles, keep going until the road splits for a median, Bellair Plaza on the left.

 

Be carefull around the plaza, the cops are pricks that work that area. Do not ask me how I know!

Anybody heard any word on bands yet?
I know Harley is having a big thing on Saturday night the 25th, and their usual this Saturday.
