Thanks to all of you reporting getting your copies. Good news can travel fast, too.
Here is hoping this is a sign of the company moving forward.

Got mine Monday after renewing in November '25

  9. I subscribed after Ryan’s post in December. Contacted RJ a few times after not receiving anything and never heard from them. Found this thread and got sad. Well, #87 showed up today. Cool. Now back to ignoring this thread like I used to :D

It's still a very badly run business while being a hell of a publication. If it were a total scam/Ponzi scheme, no one would now be getting #87

They have to keep every one hanging on, and new people still sending in their money. So they throw out a carrot or two every once in a while. It would be interesting to know what percentage of the people who paid their money, got this issue.

Hey fellas, some positive movement is a good thing.
I personally was happy to see mine leaning against my front door this morning.

I haven’t pulled the wrapper off of it yet to look at the pages, but I will certainly enjoy cruising through it.

    That’s a positive. Patience rewarded.

    I ordered in December 2025
    Number 87 as expected.
I haven’t had a chance to look at it yet but looking forward to.

Mine showed up in the rural reaches of SE Iowa. I even got it out of the mail before it was soaked.

Oh, no! Sending out promised issues must be part of the scam :)

  19. Mine was in my mailbox today. I didn't check my mail yesterday, or maybe the day before either, so it showed up sometime in the last three days. It's worth the wait;

My first copy arrived a few days ago, I am very impressed with the quality of the magazine. My wife, who retired from a career in print marketing was impressed just looking across the island after I opened it:)

Actually, in order to keep a "scam" going, one needs to continue to keep up the appearance that all is well. It's already been established on here that the Journal is several years behind on "sending out promised issues". Absolutely a great magazine, but only IF you were lucky enough to receive one. :(

Just wanted to post an update to my last post on this thread back in May. My order I placed via Rodders Journal website finally showed up today. It was a great surprise and I am thrilled that I finally received it. Better to get it five months later than not at all I guess.

So the tally from this thread is England, Canada and a number here in the US.
I could guess that it seems the second mailing is hitting the US and probably the first offshore which has to go thru an export company is hitting at the same time.

The "scam" is sending out issue #87 NINE YEARS LATE...and expecting folks to be OK with that.
TRJ started in 1995 as a quarterly publication, which means Issue #87 should have been published in late 2017!!!

Well, TRJ is doing a whole lot of "owing" ...about 35 Issues worth of "owing" considering that issue #122 should be being sent out about now.

I’ve given up on TRJ but by happenstance I was at a speed store and they had the latest on display so I spent the coin.

I’ve never been a zealot of “Best Car Magazine” ever due to the lack of tech articles. Great photography and pretty good history but GOAT no way…

I'm looking forward to receiving mine, I imagine ours will be arriving in the next month or so.

I've never been bothered (except impatient to get the next one to read) about the 3 issues a year as I have paid for 4 issues & received 4 issues. Just not in that 12 month period...

Glad the issues are rolling out

With the reputation they have made for themself, this is the only way there will be any future purchases by me.
