  2. IMG_6264.jpeg IMG_6263.jpeg IMG_6265.jpeg The chevelle is home and the 56 is going in for a little touch up. The nose on the chevelle settled about 3” in its travels to the paint shop. Actually looks about right now

Here's a few old pics of my 67 Chevelle that i built back around 1980 when I was 20 years old.It had a 427 big block with a Muncie 4 speed.Lots of fun back then.

I saw pictures of your Chevelle on FB on Patrick’s page. I thought that looks like the one from the HAMB, but i was pretty sure yours was painted already. I missed the whole deal on the repaint. Sorry you had to go through that, but glad you have it where you want it now!

  8. I bought the car because Pat said he would paint it. But before i was ready his situation changed. I’ve known the first painter for 40 + years and he’s done good work for me in the past. He did great metal/body work but he really dropped the ball on the paint. He’s in a bad state (apparently) to the point that i wrote off any chance of rework or money back. Fortunately Patrick was able to step in and fix it for me. If i cut my losses and bailed on the project it would be a huge loss with nothing to show for it in the end. This way i just way overpaid for a real nice car.

I worked with an old coot that always had some funny saying, one was "I'm investing in houses and lots............***** houses and lots of whiskey".
