It makes perfect sense. On the I Love Lucy show there is a series of episodes where they leave for Hollywood and buy a Pontiac convertible to drive there. It's kind of funny as in some of the scenes the car's windshield is out of the car and the chrome is painted due probably to the bright lights on the film set that would reflect off of it.

Where's Spanky? I think these members were the one's that go back to the silent era 2 years earlier and before, because of the '29 Chevy with that new 6. I can remember going to Shakey's pizza in the 60s and they'd have a 16mm projector showing Laurel and Hardy shorts. Sometimes Little Rascals too.
